A story of Creativity

Meet Michelle
I have always loved crafting. I can remember being in the sixth grade and having to come up with a craft project for a fair that we were having. I was so excited. I went to my mom and we came up with distressing wood and modge podging pictures to it. I thought it was the best thing ever. Sadly, I didn't win, but the project hung in my room until I left home.
My wedding was one big craft project. I remember making bows and bows and more bows. Needless to say, I became an expert at making bows. Oh!!! and paper flowers. How could I forget about the endless amounts of paper flowers.
Then, I had children. You would think the crafting would increase because the kids needs things done for school or costumes made, but sadly it went away. Being a mother to two boys does take a lot of time and energy. I did venture into the world of cake decorating for their birthdays. My mother made it look so easy, but that is not my area. I'll leave that to my mother.
Now that the boys are off being adults, I have again returned to the craft world. There are so many new things out there. It's like Christmas. I keep finding new ways to do things. How I would have loved Pinterest as a teen, but I did have the library and magazines.
My favorite thing to do is to up-cycle items into new things, so go on over to my etsy shop to see what I have available.
